100 Player Challenges, also known as 100 player events, are events hosted by Wilbur Soot. The challenge revolves around 100 players joining a world and attempting to accomplish a goal within a single stream, with Wilbur in Creative mode.
Wilbur streams these events on Twitch and is sometimes accompanied by other members of the Sleepy Bois Inc., usually TommyInnit. He then uploads them on his YouTube channel. He has made fourteen 100 Player Challenges videos.
Overview[]
A 100 player stream typically consists of Wilbur establishing the goals of a Minecraft world, allowing 100 players to join, and then following those 100 players' actions throughout the event. Wilbur, and any other content creators present, generally do these streams for content rather than to actually accomplish the goals.
Gameplay[]
In order to participate, players must be subscribed to Wilbur, have their Twitch and Discord accounts linked, and be in Wilbur's Discord server.
The 100 players are generally given one life (in Hardcore mode) and put into spectator mode or banned from the server upon death. Wilbur flies around in Creative mode and gives items to or hinders players as he sees fit; for example, he often puts players in bedrock boxes. This makes his interactions with players unpredictable.
At the end of 100 player streams, Wilbur often destroys parts of the world or forces players to press a button that closes the server.
Video summaries[]
Who Can Get the Most Deaths in 1 Hour?[]
During the event, players immediately began bridging upwards and jumping off, resulting in many "death poles". Although players also resorted to death by world border and lava, most of them placed beds on top of pillars, which allowed them to respawn and jump off repeatedly. mjopa took the lead at first, but disconnected due to internet issues. PixelMan572 then remained on top of the scoreboard, despite several players attempting to make their way up the pillar and destroy the bed. mjopa was later granted OP and /kill'ed and manipulated the scoreboard several times before Wilbur stopped the server.
So I Trapped 100 Players in a Tiny 5x5 Border World[]
During the event, Wilbur trapped 100 players, including other content creators such as Ph1LzA and Technoblade, inside a 5x5 world. He slowly expanded the world border before allowing hacking on the server, shrinking the border back to 5x5, and changing the server to Hardcore mode. After Techno hunted down several players and CharlieSH built a base in the sky, Wilbur pit them against each other. Techno won the fight and won the event as a result.
Rebuilding Civilization in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur made himself god and listed six commandments, or six organizations that the world needed, including a police force and hospitals. He crowned The_Whatshamidt as king and Lukito976 as his prophet. He also meddled in several of the organizations, mainly the hospital, and trapped naughty players in a bedrock box before declaring himself a "dirty crime boy" and tasking SirSheepe with wreaking havoc. Although SirSheepe was stopped by the king, the players eventually blew up the majority of the world with TNT.
Making a 100 Player Ant Farm in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur attempted to keep his ants alive in an ant farm. After being forced to restart his farm, he kept track of several groups of ants, including the Music Boys, but Techno slaughtered many ants and the ant farm upkeep was too much. The ants all died.
I Made a 100 Player Laboratory in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur and Techno followed rats through a maze. They repeatedly experimented on them by giving them spawn eggs, turning PvP on and off, and more.
Minecraft 100 Player Bird Cage[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur put every bird on half a heart and set up tasks for them. He created pink hoops for the birds to fly through in order to determine their king, who was later killed, and visited several bird nests, including the Lesbian Birdhouse. He made WolfclawGaming the pet bird of two people and eventually set her free. However, none of the other birds survived.
I Made 100 Players into Blind Moles in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur founded Wilbur Soot's Sociopathic Pest Control and slowly killed them off. He often gave moles diamond shovels and praised them before killing them. He also gave moles impossible tasks in order to stay alive, such as digging to the surface in under a minute. Just like his pet owner videos, the moles all died in the end.
Rebuilding Capitalism in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur commanded the players to make their own shops and sell goods for nether stars (currency). He then went on a shopping spree and met ColonelChronos, who sold hugs and reassured Wilbur. However, Wilbur later discovered a communist movement and that Colonel had been part of it. Heartbroken, he encouraged destruction and eventually stopped the server.
I Made 100 Players into Communists in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur created the Five-Hour Plan to light up the world and fill a double chest with iron blocks. He named RubenHetSchaap the model worker and praised TeddyViking for constantly mining for the nation. Although a capitalist movement called "We Shall Rise" repeatedly tried to get in the way, the nation built several factories and successfully filled a double chest with iron blocks, armor, and tools.
Rebuilding Civilization Again in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur and Tommy attempted to establish both capitalist and communist societies, resulting in many Tesco's, hospitals, graveyards, and gambling venues. Afterwards, they spawned ravagers named Arold and stopped the world.

Terraforming the Moon in Minecraft[]
During the Hardcore event, all of the Sleepy Bois joined to oversee players terraforming the moon to be more Earth-like. Tommy chose to give poggings many items and to resurrect him multiple times throughout the event, and the Sleepy Bois visited various builds. Eventually, they decided to terraform the moon themselves, but only succeeded in making it look more like the moon and less like Earth.
Forcing 100 Players to Cross the Void[]
During the event, Wilbur forced players to bridge across a void in order to gain access to the Dream SMP. He restarted the bridge multiple times because people kept reaching the portal, and he watched as players such as Urchent battled for control of several bridges. Although several players reached the portal in the end, only Wilbur was teleported to the Dream SMP.
Who can Fall the Most Blocks in One Hour?[]
During the Hardcore event, Wilbur and Tommy kept a scoreboard of the number of blocks each player had fallen. However, several players, such as Gemboss and AdamPlays, hunted down the top players on the leaderboard, such as peacherings. In the end, graack won the event and Wilbur and Tommy mmm'ed at them.
I Forced 100 Players to Compete in a Bell-Ringing Contest[]
During the event, Wilbur and Tommy kept a scoreboard of the number of times each player rung a bell. They had to replace the bell multiple times and watched as players fought each other to ring the bell the most times. AdamPlays won the event after beating Chapter_ and mrbreadman.
Notable players[]
During 100 player challenges, players often defy Wilbur's orders. For example, during his capitalism videos, players often created hidden bunkers calling for communism. Based on their interactions with Wilbur and presence in multiple challenges, some players are better-known than others.
Blopwobbel[]
In "I Made 100 Players into Blind Moles In Minecraft", Wilbur punished Blopwobbel by encasing him with bedrock. Blop soon seemed to lose hope, and, when given a journal to write in, wrote about his pain and crying. Wilbur decided to give him freedom, but Blop still asked for "true freedom". Wilbur promised to give "true freedom" if Blop killed the remaining moles, but Blop was killed by Oreli when Wilbur pitted them against each other.
Oreli[]
In "I Made 100 Players into Blind Moles In Minecraft", Oreli challenged Wilbur to a duel. Oreli ended up winning the bow duel. Later, he killed Blop and was crowned the king of the moles. When Wilbur asked him to press the button that would end the event, Oreli chose to write "nah" and log out instead.
In "Forcing 100 Players to Cross the Void", benzylol was about to press the button to end the event when Oreli knocked him away and took his spot. Again, rather than pushing the button, he wrote "fuck you" to Wilbur and jumped backwards into the void.
Videos[]
Wilbur has created a playlist of 100 Player Challenges videos. Videos in the table marked "N/A" are not featured in this playlist.
