MC Championship 14

Aqua Axolotls win MCC 14.

MC Championship 14, also known as MCC 14, was the fourteenth week of MC Championship and the first game of MCC Season 2 and took place on May 29, 2021 at 3 PM ET.

Aqua Axolotls (Wispexe, Scott Smajor, HBomb94, and SolidarityGaming) won. MCC 14 also introduced several changes to MCC, including new builds, models, minigame maps, and a revamp of Build Mart.

Changes

Due to MCC 14 being the first game of MCC Season 2, many changes were made.

• The Hub was overhauled, including new models and a redesigned Walk of Fame.
• The Decision Dome was rebuilt to be larger, include more details, and relocate the pipes used to move players to games. The voting graphics were also changed.
• The minigames were changed, including many new maps. Build Mart's shopping carts were replaced with elytra for easier access to building resources.
• A new MCC coin for Season 2 was added.

As only eight games were available during the event, with the others still under development, all eight were played.

Game 1 (Big Sales at Build Mart)

Both Red Rabbits and Pink Parrots enjoyed using elytra over shopping carts to get blocks from the build mart.

Red Rabbits placed eighth with 1,040 points. Pink Parrots placed seventh with 1,104 points.

Yellow Yaks won with 1,452 points.

Game 2 (TGTTOSAWAF)

This game included a x1.5 point multiplier.

Phil winning TGTTOSAWAF Round 1 (Terra Swoop Force).

TGTTOSAWAF consisted of six rounds, with Round 1 being the second tunnel of Terra Swoop Force.

From Pink Parrots, Phil placed first in Round 1, Fundy placed third in Round 2, and Fundy and Jack placed first and second in Round 3, respectively.

Red Rabbits placed ninth with 2,312 points. Pink Parrots won with 2,148 points.

Game 3 (Sky Battle)

This game included a x1.5 point multiplier.

Tommy eliminating three members of Lime Llamas during Sky Battle.

Sky Battle consisted of three rounds. The border shrunk from the sides and the top of the arena.

Both teams were eliminated early in Rounds 1 and 3. During Round 2, Tommy eliminated five players in the final battle by placing creepers, while Pink Parrots sang the sea shanty "Bones in the Ocean".

Red Rabbits placed fifth with 4,214 points. Pink Parrots placed eighth with 3,762 points.

Blue Bats won with 5,070 points.

Game 4 (Survival Games)

This game included a x2.0 point multiplier.

Red Rabbits quickly found gear and began picking off individual players. They played around with boats briefly before engaging in the final fight, which they won with all four members surviving.

Pink Parrots joked about transferring the team captain title between them. All four members were eliminated.

Red Rabbits won with 9,118 points. Pink Parrots placed seventh with 5,058 points.

Game 5 (Hole in the Wall)

This game included a x2.0 point multiplier.

Prior to the game, Pink Parrots joked about explaining a hot dog and referenced Charles Dozsa's arrest. Fundy placed first in Round 1 and Phil placed first in Rounds 2 and 3.

Red Rabbits won with 10,798 points. Pink Parrots placed fifth with 8,530 points.

Game 6 (Ace Race)

This game included a x2.5 point multiplier.

The overhauled Ace Race map confused many of the players.

Phil before taking a wrong turn in Ace Race.

The last section of the map contained several different arrows pointing in different directions. Instead of flying downwards, Phil flew to the left, which reset his checkpoint and pushed him from 2nd to 37th. Many players followed him, including Tommy and Niki. Tubbo finished eighth and Fundy finished seventh.

Red Rabbits placed fourth with 12,551 points. Pink Parrots placed fifth with 11,315 points.

Blue Bats won with 13,957 points.

Game 7 (Battle Box)

This game included a x2.5 point multiplier.

Red Rabbits won Rounds 1, 3, and 4. Pink Parrots won Round 5.

Red Rabbits placed fourth with 14,426 points. Pink Parrots placed seventh with 11,903 points.

Blue Bats won with 17,445 points.

Game 8 (Parkour Tag)

This game included a x3.0 point multiplier.

Red Rabbits placed fourth with 17,882 points. Pink Parrots placed sixth with 15,566 points.

Blue Bats won with 21,528 points.

Results

Pink Parrots in MCC 14.

Aqua Axolotls played Dodgebolt against Blue Bats and won with 20,218 points. Red Rabbits placed fourth and Pink Parrots placed sixth. Individually, Tommy placed ninth (2,619 points) and Tubbo placed tenth (2,553 points).

Trivia

• A new MCC soundtrack, by Isaac Wilkins, was used during the event.
• Wilbur was missing until two minutes before the event began due to traveling to his office and fixing his streaming setup.
• The confusion during Ace Race prompted many memes.
