"Minecraft's TNT Rain Mod is actually funny..." features TommyInnit, Ph1LzA, Slimecicle (Charlie), Tubbo, and JackManifoldTV as they attempt to survive while TNT rains from the sky. While Phil immediately gathered resources, Charlie and Tubbo founded a Christmas workshop and later a spiritual spa. Throughout the video, the TNT grew larger and blew up closer to the players, making it more and more difficult to survive.

Summary

Santa's workshop

When starting to gather resources, Tubbo stated that he was afraid of the "little red packages" falling from the sky. Charlie interpreted the red packages as Christmas presents, and they decided to create a Christmas workshop to allow kids to come get their presents. During Tommy's visit, Tommy said that the TNT was more like the four horsemen of the apocalypse than Santa Clause and his elves, but Charlie interpreted the four horsemen as Santa's reindeer.

Spiritual shacks

Tommy again stated that they were in danger and that Phil had already dug underground for resources. However, Charlie then told Tommy to check his chakra and asked him, Tubbo, and Jack into the "chakra shack". Charlie asked them to "visualize their inner rainbow... from ROY to G. BIV" before TNT exploded nearby, prompting Tommy and Jack to run.

Tommy and Jack then attempted to collect surface iron, which the TNT had revealed. Tubbo and Charlie followed them, calling Jack "high" due to his paranoia and occasionally "purging" their auras by creating temporary dirt shacks and screaming in them. When Jack died, Tubbo and Charlie insisted that Jack had overdosed and gone to the "worm". Tommy fled to Phil.

Tommy and Phil realized that bedrock did not exist when they mined into the void. Tubbo and Charlie began building a healing energy spa in a ravine where Tommy and Phil could "see the TNT's point of view". However, when Tommy and Phil came to the spa, Tubbo died when pushing the TNT minecart onto a powered rail. Phil immediately left, but Charlie seemed unfazed and claimed that Tubbo had only gone "back to the worms".

Attempting to survive

Phil, Tommy, and Charlie found it harder and harder to survive as they struggled to get food from saplings and wheat and the TNT grew larger. They attempted to escape into the Nether, but found that the TNT there was even larger and emerged from the ground. Charlie died in the Nether, while Phil died shortly afterwards in the Overworld. Tommy won as a result, but quickly died after he reached the surface of the Overworld.
