Minecraft Monday Week 1 was the first week of Minecraft Monday. It consisted of 22 teams and 42 players, and Team 16 (Technoblade and ShotGunRaids) won. Techno streamed the event and later made a video on it.[1][2] This event also earned Techno the [PIG] rank.
Techno's Minecraft Monday participation and winning streak launched him to fame.

The teams played ten rounds of Hunger Games, with the first round as a practice round. Techno and ShotGun only won four of the nine rounds, but they eliminated the most players.
Round 2[]
During round 2, Techno eliminated seven players, including Ninja, Vikkstar123, PeteZahHutt, DanTDM, and Jschlatt, but was eliminated by Woofless in the final fight. ShotGun was eliminated when the border closed in towards the end of the round.

Round 3[]
During round 3, Techno eliminated three players before he was eliminated by TNT from Junky Janker. ShotGun eliminated six players, including SkyDoesMinecraft, before being eliminated during the final fight, also by Junky.
PeteZahHutt and Vikkstar123 won.
Round 4[]
During round 4, Techno eliminated six players, including Schlatt, Bajan Canadian, and Skeppy, and ShotGun eliminated three, including Quackity, before they were both eliminated by Vik in the final fight.

Round 5[]
During round 5, Techno and ShotGun were eliminated at the beginning of the round after they chased Vik into a cave, where Vik found an iron sword in a chest.

Round 6[]
During round 6, Techno eliminated five players, including Schlatt, Bajan, and Quackity. ShotGun eliminated five players.
Technoblade and ShotGunRaids won.
Round 7[]
During round 7, Techno eliminated four players, including Bajan and Dan, before being eliminated by Vik. ShotGun eliminated five players, including Pete and Vik, before being caught in the border. Although he survived the border by eating several golden apples, Skeppy eliminated him soon afterwards.
Skeppy and Doni Bobes won.
Round 8[]
During round 8, Techno eliminated six players, including Skeppy, Quackity, and Pete. ShotGun eliminated two players. Both Vik and Pete died early in the round, allowing Techno and ShotGun to take the lead on the team scoreboard.

Round 9[]

Hypixel [PIG] rank.
Prior to the start of round 9, Simon, the owner of Hypixel, donated to Techno stating that Techno would be given the prestigious [PIG] rank on Hypixel for a week if he won Minecraft Monday.[2]
During round 9, Techno eliminated four players, including Pete, Bajan, and CaptainSparklez. ShotGun eliminated four players as well, including Vik.
Technoblade and ShotGunRaids won.
Round 10[]
During round 10, Techno eliminated six players, including Pete and Dan. ShotGun eliminated four players, including Vik. After they eliminated Vik and Pete, Techno attempted to play using a steering wheel, a reference to a past stream where he beat Minecraft Hardcore mode with a steering wheel, but failed to connect the steering wheel to his computer.[3]

Techno and ShotGun win Week 1.
Techno and ShotGun placed first as a team with 1,156 points and earned $10,000. Techno and ShotGun also placed first and second individually, with 638 and 518 points, respectively. Due to his team win, Techno gained the [PIG] rank on Hypixel for a week.
Trivia[]
- Week 1 marked Techno's debut in Minecraft Monday. He was the only Sleepy Bois Inc member in Minecraft Monday until Ph1LzA joined in Week 2.
- The members of the top five teams were split up for later weeks of Minecraft Monday.
- Techno and ShotGun eliminated Quackity multiple times, which later started a bit in the Dream SMP that Quackity was afraid of Techno.
