We're raising money to fund research into new treatments for sarcoma, a disease which makes up roughly ~15% of childhood cancers.
Minecrafters Vs Cancer was a fundraiser organized by Technoblade in February 2022 in order to raise money to help research treatments for sarcoma.
Background[]
On August 27, 2021, Techno published a video announcing his recent cancer diagnosis.[1] This led to widespread support among fans; additionally, many creators, including the Sleepy Bois, wore purple ribbons on their Minecraft skins during events such as MC Championship. On December 23, 2021, he released a second video, where he explained his treatment process.[2]
On February 2, 2022, Techno publicly announced the Minecrafters Vs Cancer fundraiser.[3][4] The fundraiser aimed to $50,000 for the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Shortly afterwards, many other content creators joined the fundraiser.
On February 5, the fundraiser goal was reached and changed to $75,000.[5] On February 8, the goal was raised to $100,000.[6] On February 19, the goal was raised to $125,000.[7] The fundraiser raised $119,420 in total.[8]

Although only a few creators posted announcements that they would be joining the fundraiser, many individual videos from a variety of content creators were part of the charity effort.
