Ranboo (born November 2, 2003) is an American YouTuber and Twitch streamer. Ranboo is best known for their comedic Minecraft and variety content, particularly their collaborations with Tubbo and other members of the Dream SMP.
Ranboo has been/is part of two major SMPs: Dream SMP and Origins SMP.
Currently, they stream on Twitch daily and occasionally post comedy-centered real-life and gaming content on YouTube. They are well-known for their conversational streaming style.
Ranboo is considered one of the fastest-rising breakout stars by the Twitch and Minecraft communities. They hold several records, including being the youngest and newest streamer to ever hit 100,000 subscribers on Twitch.

Ranboo uploaded their first video on August 13, 2020 and began streaming on September 12, 2020.[1] Due to their large following on TikTok, they quickly amassed subscribers.[2] After Punz raided them, Ranboo continued to gain viewers and spoke to other members of the Dream SMP. Shortly afterwards, during a stream about the Dream SMP, they were invited to the SMP by Dream.[3]
Alongside Dream SMP and Origins SMP content, Ranboo frequently streams other games, including Night in the Woods, Phasmophobia, and Little Nightmares. Ranboo and Tubbo often collaborate for both variety and Minecraft streams, and even lived with Tubbo in the United Kingdom for several months.
Dream SMP[]

Although Ranboo is one of the newest members of the Dream SMP, having joined on November 27, 2020, they quickly established themselves as a major character in the lore. After unknowingly sparking the exile conflict between L'Manberg and Dream, they developed a weak-willed but loyal and kind enderman-like character. Due to their complex character, who also has memory loss and a sleepwalking state known as the "enderwalk", Ranboo participates in most major events and has some of the most popular lore streams.
Currently, they are platonically married to Tubbo and live in Snowchester with their zombified piglin son, Michael. Despite their attempts to remain neutral and peaceful, the revived Wilbur Soot has taken advantage of Ranboo's weak-willed nature and pushed them to take sides and act.
Other SMPs[]
Ranboo joined the Origins SMP on February 11, 2021 with the Enderian origin, which gives them the ability to infinitely throw ender pearls with a short cooldown. Although they attend server events such as the pub reopening, Ranboo currently lives with Tubbo in The Hive, their colorful underground base.
Ranboo also participated in the short-lived Free Trial SMP.
Twitch achievements[]
Ranboo has broken several records on Twitch. During February and March 2021, they were the most subscribed-to Twitch streamer. They were the youngest, newest, and first Minecraft streamer to hit 100,000 subscribers on Twitch. They also hold the record for the most subscribers gained in a day (44,500) and the largest hype train (over 100,000%).
They are currently third on Twitch for all-time peak active subscribers (114,387) and third for current active subscribers.[4]

The popular "Ranboo my beloved" meme.
- A popular meme involves Ranboo in a heart locket with the words "Ranboo my beloved". As a result, Ranboo and their fanbase commonly joke by saying "[subject] my beloved".
- Ranboo was originally known as the "Walmart Technoblade" because their voice and behavior was compared to Technoblade's. This also led to Ranboo adding a crown to his Minecraft skin.[2]
- Ranboo has never shown their face online. When they creates real-life content, they wears black sunglasses and a black-and-white mask resembling their Minecraft character's skin, although, as of 26th November, they did an eye reveal, so they don't feel as compelled to wear their glasses as their does his mask.
- Ranboo is part of Misfits Gaming alongside Tubbo.[5]
