Tobias "Toby" James Smith (born December 23, 2003), better known online as Tubbo, is an English YouTuber and Twitch streamer. Tubbo is best known for his Minecraft content, particularly his collaborations with TommyInnit, Ranboo, and other members of the Dream SMP, as well as his real-life streams.

Tubbo has been/is part of two major SMPs: Dream SMP and Origins SMP.

Currently, he streams on Twitch and posts stream VODs, stream highlights, and other off-stream content on YouTube. He is well-known for his quirky streaming style, which includes many funny moments dubbed "Tubbo moments".

History

Tubbo met Tommy when Tommy raided him while he was on 0 viewers. They first met up at Insomnia 64.

Previously, Tubbo went under the names "Blue Turtle", "OrphicTubbo", "SupermanPower500", and "Spectrum_XP".

Events

MC Championship

Starting on September 12, 2020, Tubbo participated in MC Championships (debuting in MCC 9). Due to Dream SMP lore separating Tubbo and Tommy, many of these MCC streams were highlights for fans. Tubbo also teamed with Ranboo in MCC 15; the event was highly anticipated by fans because it was Ranboo's first MCC and it took place while Ranboo was in the UK with Tubbo.

Block Wars

Tubbo will be joining Season 3 of Block Wars on 28 January 2023.

Dream SMP

Tubbo joined the Dream SMP on July 7, 2020. Although he engaged in some minor conflicts, Tubbo's first major appearance was during the Disc War, when he partnered with Tommy to retrieve Tommy's music discs from Dream. He later joined L'Manberg and played a major role in its government: as the Secretary of State under Wilbur, as Jschlatt's right-hand man under Schlatt, and as the third and last president of L'Manberg. Following the dissolution of L'Manberg, Tubbo again helped Tommy retrieve the music discs and later founded Snowchester, created the Bee n Boo Hotel, and developed the server's first nuclear weapons.

Tubbo is often regarded as Tommy's sidekick.

Origins SMP

Tubbo joined Origins SMP on February 11, 2021, and has played in all three seasons. Although he started with the Shulk origin, he later switched to the custom Bumblebee origin. During Season 1, he and Ranboo built The Hive, a large underground base. He also created an alter ego known as "The Flying Zombee Burglar." During Season 2, he began rebuilding The Hive. During Season 3, he built a cottage and cleared out an area behind it. He plans to fill this clearing with redstone farms.

TubNet

Tubbo is currently working on his own Minecraft server, TubNet, which will be compatible for both Minecraft Java and Bedrock players.
